Students – learn to make your own clothes in our fun after-school sewing class! You’ll gain the skills to cut, stitch, and finish garments with confidence. Perfect for beginners or those with a little sewing experience, this hands-on class teaches practical techniques in a creative, supportive environment. Choose fabrics you love, follow a professional pattern, and watch your ideas come to life as wearable fashion. Sewing not only saves money but also encourages individuality and sustainability. Come along, meet new friends, and leave with skills you’ll use for years. Sewing machines and guidance provided.
Make the most of patterns and fabric available at the Wanaka Community Workshop or source your own. We have enough to get started on your sewing journey. Suitable for ages 10 and upwards. Boys and girls.
