Join a course, class or workshop at Wānaka Community Workshop.

Our classes are a great way to learn new skills, try something creative, meet others and get comfortable using the workshop. We run a mix of beginner-friendly sessions, short courses and special workshops across woodworking, sewing, making, repair and creative projects.

You do not need to be an experienced maker to join a class. Each course listing will tell you what the class includes, who it is suitable for, what to bring, and whether membership, induction or tool training is required. Please check back regularly as new classes and times are updated all the time, or sign up to our newsletter.

If you would like to use the workshop regularly for your own projects outside of a class, you can become a member and complete a Health & Safety induction.
